Interrup-Hi!-tions (Something)

Greetings earthlings,

Sandy made an origami unicorn I thought I would share with you (I'm extremely impressed)

This is what Sandy said when I asked what he was thinking when creating this unicorn:

"I don't know, you expect me to remember all the way back to yesterday? Actually I made it over the course of two days so...yeah. I got bored and stopped. I made the legs the next day"

When I asked "Anything else?" he said:

"That's why the two different shades of blue are there, I forgot what colour I was using"

When I asked what he wanted to say to his fans, he said:

"...I have fans?"

Sandy is Here! :)

Greetings earthlings,

So today is Tuesday/ Normally Tuesdays aren't very interesting. I go to school, I go home, blah blah blah. But this Tuesday is a very special Tuesday. Sandy is here!!

          WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Yeah, it's pretty great. Here we are:

Sandy's bus was really delayed, which was annoying. And he was one of the last off. As the were getting off though there were about six or seven women with hair exactly like Sandy's, and every time one of them pasted I thought it as him. *sigh*

We just video chatted with Lucas, he seemed pretty jealous. Were video chatting with Emma tonight, so that should be fun. But now (although Sandy refuses to admit it) we're both really tired. And I think we're going to read.

Later tonight we're going to see The Lorax (cool kids, I know) so maybe I'll blog about that, but until then...

Unicorn Collection: Updated!

Greetings earthlings,

Good news! It turns out I'm only six blog posts behind schedule. That's actually really not bad, I thought I was at least ten off. So I'm in a happy mood right now. I figure since it's my 4 Month Blog-iversary I would continue it by posting yet another post today and becoming closer to catching up with my goal. If you remember earlier in December I did a post on My Unicorn Collection, but because of Christmas and just random impulses my collection has grown since then. I'm going to show you the unicorns I already had (minues the descriptions and then add on the rest, if you feel like reading the descriptions for the older unicorns, here it is:

http://libraryofawesome.blogspot.com/2011/12/my-unicorn-collection.html

     Okay, let's begin!

(this picture is old, because I have no idea where this unicorn ^ went, tear)

Okay, now onto the "new-nicorns" (Lawlz I'm so hilarious)

Unicorn 1:

This is a unicorn Emma (Inflatable Furniture and Bubble Wrap) got me for Christmas. It's freaking amazing. Just look at that horn, it's like sparkly majestical blue. How could you not love it? I'm so in love with this unicorn it's insane (Thanks Emma!)

Unicorn 2:

That thing I'm holding up in my hand is called a Uni-key. It's pretty awesome. Basically when you buy it it just looks like a purple horse with a hole. But when you stick your key inside the key becomes the horn. I have another one too, it's pink. Santa got it for me in my stocking :)

Unicorn 3:

Sorry, it's kinda hard to see (terrible lighting + crappy camera) but this is probably the most freaking amazing home made thing ever given to me ever. My cousin Ashely (Who's an artist, she also hijacked y post once) Drew me a unicorn getting fat on Christmas candy for Christmas. I am so in love. <3 <3 <3 (Thanks Ashley!)

Unicorn 4:

This (in case you couldn't tell) Is a Valentine's day unicorn. It's red and white and it has hearts on it. I got it for St. Patrick's Day (Lawls I am SO funny) JK: I got it for Valentine's day from my mommy.

Unicorn 5:

This is a cute little tiny unicorn Santa got me for Christmas in my stocking. If you look really closely, she has hair made of cupcake frosting, it's freaking adorable. I think Santa and my family are finally coming to terms with the fact I am obsessed with unicorns and are actually getting me unicorn related things, it makes me happy :)

Unicorn 5 and a half:

This probably shouldn't count, but I don't care, I'm putting it here anyways. This is a unicorn I found in Disney World and took a picture of. It isn't even mine, I just wanted to show off my amazing photography skillz (lawlz)

Okay, those are all my unicorns, doth thou liketh them? I do <3. By the way sorry it took so long for the update. I obviously don't want to update every single time I get a unicorn, because that would take way too much time and you'd probably be annoyed at looking at the same unicorns over and over, so I'm only going to update once I accumulate at least a few unicorns at a time. Also, so for the demented faces in every single photo. I'm not what you call photogenic.

4 MONTH BLOG-IVERSARY!!!

Greetings earthlings,

Can you guess what day it is?!

(You probably can, since I wrote it in the title)

     Okay, I'll tell you anyways..

4 MONTH BLOG-IVERSARY!!!!

That's right earthlings, today is the day we celebrate the day our months ago when I started this blog. I thought I would tell you about that day, here we go:

It was a dark a dreary night. I was sitting in my room with my slipper socks and my like thirtieth cup of tea and my Halloween candy attempting to complete day twelve of NaNoWriMo. I was bored (duh.) So I went on Facebook, then Meaghan forced me into making a blog, the end.

So I guess you have Meaghan to thank for this long rambling blog.

Now I thought we could talk about what this blog has accomplished in the last four months

For one thing, this blog has gone through two design changes. Long time Library Of Awesome readers will remember when this blog has a pretty birdie design  as it's back round, even longer Library Of Awesome readers will remember when this blog was a light blue with white flowers.

And now, in case you aren't very observant, or haven't bothered to look, this blog is rainbow.

What else have we accomplished in four months of blogging? Let's see here.Oh, I know.

Library Of Awesome went through that horrific phase of being completely Comic Sans (Thank goodness that's over) And there was also that time (at the very beginning of Library Of Awesome) when everything was the font Coming Soon (See Inflatable Furniture and Bubble Wrap's title) But that ended pretty quickly.

Besides that, we started my New Year's Resolution of blogging 365 times in the year 2012 (Which I still intend to make happen) And I have created a New Page (30 Day Challenges)

Now let's look at some of the current favourites of this blog, for future reference.

Apparently my most viewed blog post is my first post (First Post! Hi!) which makes sense, since it's my first post. But my second most viewed post is my very first Interr-Hi!-tions. That's a little odd. I don't know why you guys are so interested in me in a unicorn hat, but I'm going for it. (You guys are so WEIRD)

But I think the weirdest post in my VIP Posts section is definitively the post FOOD. All I do is talk about eating soup for like two paragraphs, then it's over. Why is this so interesting to you? Somethings I will never comprehend.

Anyways, as of today Library Of Awesome has had 95 blog posts (including this one it's 96) and 2761 page views (But that will probably change by the time you're reading this)

Anyways, happy Blog-iversary. I really really really enjoy blogging and I'm going to keep doing it for a long time, so don't flip that channel! Heehee. Talk to you guys soon!

PS: Happy Blog-iversary to Meaghan too! (I still reserve the term Blog-iversary, by the way :P)

Interrup-Hi!-tions (I still forget how many I've done)

Greetings earthlings,

Here's a picture that made me think of Emma (She told me once she cried when she saw the rusty Warner Bros. sign at the beginning of Deathly Hallows

This is actually insanely cool.

(sorry Emma)

Random Updates

Greetings earthlings,

I thought today I would just update you all on a couple of things, as I don't really have the energy to do a "proper" post today.

1. CANTERBURY!! :D

So, In case you couldn't tell my the subtitle, I was accepted in to Canterbury for drama! WOOT WOOT!
I can't even describe to you how freaking excited I am. I get to go to a school for the arts for four years of my life. In which every single day of the school year I do Drama for and hour and fifteen minutes, plus after school rehearsals and shows, gosh I'm excited.

One of the best parts is all my friends that applied got in, so myself and Natasha and Owen and Maggie and Cameron are all going to school together, which is freaking amazing amazing. Also I'm kind of carrying on the family legacy, as three of the five cousins on my mom's side went to Canterbury, and so did Emma (step-sister Emma, not Emma, Emma) So I feel pretty good about that.

Oh! I forgot to mention possible the best part! I GET TO WEAR SWEAT PANTS EVERY SINGLE DAY! The letter literally told me to wear comfortable clothing, so g'bye skinny jeans, I won't miss you :)

2. Blog-iversary!

So, tomorrow will be my four month blogging anniversary! That's right earthlings, four months of me typing words into a document and then posting said document online for your entertainment. I think I might do something special for that, but I don't know. Is four months a special occasion? Should I get you guys a present? Let me know peeps.

But enough about me, there's an even more special occasion then Olivia's Blog-iversary Eve. That's right people, you heard me, and you're probably wondering, "what day could possible be more special than Blog-iversary Eve?! (Besides Blog-iversary Day of course)" Well I'll tell you: Today is EMMA'S FOUR MONTH ANNIVERSARY!! That's right earthlings...TODAY! Let's all go on to her blog and spam it with Anniversary comments!

(PS - Emma, if you're reading this, I am now officially copyrighting the term Blog-iversary, don't even think about stealing it, you've seen what my unicorns can do when provoked)

3. MARCH BREAK!!

So, here in Canada, there's this thing called March Break. Basically we get a week off of school for absolutely no reason except the reason of having a week of school (We don't question it) I'm especially excited for this March Break, and I'll tell you why:

SANDY IS COMING TO VISIT OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!

In case you don't know who Sandy is, I wrote a blog post about him a bit ago, and you should check it out, but long story short he's a friend I made on the cruise. AND HE'S COMING TO VISIT I CAN"T WAIT!!

We're gonna go to a ton of museums, like the Art Gallery and the Museum of Nature and maybe Science and Tech. It's gonna be so awesome I can't even imagine.

And he's bringing the Princess Bride <3

4. IT'S GONE!!

This is just a really quick update, but I thought I should let you know Blogger has finally fixed the problem and my blog doesn't look Comic Sans'y anymore, let's take a stroll down memory lane and look at my blog Comic Sans edition:

Okay cool.

5. Facebook Page!

Last thing - I made a Facebook Page for this blog, it's pretty cool actually. I'll post mini updates there and also when I new post is up. Fun fun fun. So of you're looking for some more "inside info" on The Life and Times of Olivia, I suggest you like that page, or don't, whatever.

Thoughts From Places - National Art Gallery

Greetings earthlings,

I'm trying out this thing based on John Green via The Vlog Brothers "Thoughts from Places" on his Youtube Channel. (If you don't know what vlogbrothers is, 1. I'm extremely disappointed in you. 2. I made a post about them back in November, please go check it out). Anyways it's essentially where John talks about how he was feeling when he was at a certain place and his emotions and stuff so I'm going to try one

The Art Gallery

I started my day at around nine a.m, I actually felt really nauseous so I just lay in bed until I felt okay enough to throw myself in the shower and venture down the stairs for oatmeal and water (I was going to make tea, then I got lazy) Anyways after that I took some Advil and left for the Gallery

If you know anything about my Dad, you know him + Art Gallery = Does not compute. So you're probably wondering why he took me there, well I'll tell you, it was a birthday present. That's what I asked for, there, now you know.

Anyways we decided we would park in the market so we could eat there once we were done, so we found a parking garage and we parked there. We parked on the roof and there was a fan on the roof, a very large, very noisy fan of destruction, For some reason I was very interested in this fan and decided to stare at it for a while, then we got into a creepy elevator and then we were in the market.

I don't know why but I'm really intrigued by the city. I guess because I live in the country the city is really cool. I've always known that I wanted to live in a big city and I plan to when  I grow up. But for now I'm stuck in the country, so at least going to the city, even for a little, is an enjoyable pass time pour moi.

Anyways, we got to the art museum, and I remembered again why I love it so much. It was actually a pretty quiet day for the art museum. There were hardly any crowds. So we started off with a small portion of the contemporary arts section of the gallery. I love contemporary art. In my opinion it's fantastic and erratic and spontaneous. I think the painting that intrigued me the most was one called "Les Yeux Sans Visage". Which was this series of photos, some from a 1950s horror movie called "Les Yeux Sans Visage' and some from early experiments with plastic surgery. The point of the photo was to show how although some was fiction and some was not, the people of the series were not accepted into society because of their looks. I thought it was really cool.

After the gallery we went out to eat food and found a place called the Clock Tower where we ran into my family and we hung out for a while.

Anyways, had a great day, but most go sleep to ward off sickness. Bleck, I feel disgusting. Hopefull okay for skiing tomorrow
